CITY DESCRIPTION: RESISTENCIA is a medium sized city of around 300,000 in the province of Chaco of which it is the capital. It's about 910 miles north of Buenos Aires and near to the border with Paraguay. It is primarily a commercial city as befits the capital of a province, with good financial, communication, and transportation support. Tourism here is limited but there are some good hotels and restaurants.
