CITY DESCRIPTION:LA CUMBRE
is a really small agricultural town with around 8,000 people. Located in
the Cordoba Province about 500 miles northwest of the capital it has a
great climate for your health it was ranked 3rd, after the Suez Canal zone
and Rocky Mountains in U.S.A. for its relaxing dry low mountain climate.
It is ideal in any season of the year. It is surrounded and crossed by
several rivers and streams. Nearly all of them narrow and shallow. It even
has "E1 Chorrito", near the Municipal bathing resort where mineral water,
totally fit for drinking, springs out of the mountain. La Cumbre also offers
a surprising (in view of its small size) range of tourist services such
as hotels, camping areas, restaurants, airline agents as well as bus lines
which connect to the main cities of the country. It even has an aerodrome
for middle sized planes.
