CITY DESCRIPTION:FORMOSA
is the capital of the province of the same name. It is a moderate sized
town of around 170,000 souls about 900 miles north of Buenos Aires and
on the border with Paraguay and the Paraguay River. It is in a subtropical
area and the flora and fauna reflect this, they even have pumas, and of
course mosquitoes. While not a strong tourist area there are some things
to do like fishing and hunting and swatting mosquitoes. It does have an
adequate selection of hotels.
